Daisy and Her Matching Figurine

Daisy is our Silky Terrier. Silky Terriers are their own breed recognized by the AKC but are originally from a Yorkshire Terrier and and Austrailian Terrier. She's 11 years old! She is what the dog books about Silky Terriers call "a wagger" because when she wags her tail her entire body makes a "u" shape. She also likes to lie in this crazy position with her butt in the air. I found a figurine that looks like Daisy in this position! How funny is that?

Orange Belt!

Congratulations, Bridget! Bridget just took her karate exam and was promoted to orange belt! We are so proud of you!

Maddie and My Clemantis - Both Blooming this Year!

Maddie won 1st place in a coloring contest this past Easter - I finally got around to taking a picture of her holding it! She won a toy! Congratulations Maddie!

My Clemantis in the front yard is doing really great this year! I won't show you my trellis over my gate - my Wisteria died last summer and I had to rip it out. It looks so ugly plain. I have to plant something asap!

Pretty Cherries

Isn't this a nifty vase? There is something about cherries - I don't know if it's Mary Engelbreit's influence on me but they are so darn cute! I keep this one on my piano in my living room.
