Brittany Over Her Milk Allergy!!!

My oldest daughter, Brittany, has been severely allergic to milk since she was a tiny baby. We kind of discovered by accident that she has outgrown this allergy! She ate a regular waffle instead of one of the dairy-free ones by mistake and did not have a reaction! We took her to the allergist who tested her and she did not react so I got the go ahead to give her cheese and slowly introduce milk products to her. Isn't that exciting? Yea Brittany!

First Day of School!

The girls started school today! Brittany is in Middle School now (6th grade), Bridget (3rd grade), Maddie (1st grade) and Elizabeth (preschool). They were all very excited! So was Mom! Ha! Ha!

Little Miss Elizabeth

This is Elizabeth. She is three years old. She has naturally curly hair and big brown eyes. She is my big helper in the garden. She loves bugs. She has a bug collection! She also likes elephants and frogs. She enjoys coloring and painting. I tried to take some pictures of her. But she was not very cooperative. She didn't want to smile for me. She's like that - wants things on her own terms. Often she requests a cookie for breakfast. She doesn't appreciate when I make her eat something nutritious instead. I have been known to be a "mean mom" when I don't oblige. Most of the time, though, she likes me and wants to hang out with her mommy.

She just had to wear the tights today. It was important.

This is called "keep away from mommy." It's a fun game when mommy is trying to take pictures of you.

Maddie and My Clemantis - Both Blooming this Year!

Maddie won 1st place in a coloring contest this past Easter - I finally got around to taking a picture of her holding it! She won a toy! Congratulations Maddie!

My Clemantis in the front yard is doing really great this year! I won't show you my trellis over my gate - my Wisteria died last summer and I had to rip it out. It looks so ugly plain. I have to plant something asap!

Pizza Making Assignment

Brittany is our oldest daughter - she's in 5th grade. She had to make a pizza for her assignment - with all the food groups. She's allergic to milk so her pizza couldn't have any cheese! She made a yummy one - with spinach, pepperoni, onions, tomatoes, beans and pineapple! Great work, Brittany!

Girly Fun

This is Elizabeth looking for the right shade of lip gloss to go with her outfit. She wants to look like a princess. Preferably Cinderella.
