Valentine's Day at the Bungalow

Hi everyone! I just returned from a week long vacation cruising the South Caribbean...it was wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen such blue water. Now I'm back home, happy to be with my kiddies again and getting ready for some birthday parties for my kids this weekend, then Valentine's Day fun next week! My sweet mother-in-law gave this to me for Christmas this year.

My hutch dolled up for Valentine's.

This is a cute photo of my parents when they were dating in high school! How romantic! They were married 32 years until my father passed away at the early age of 52.

Mantle decorated with hearts - the lights I got at Target in their dollar bin section!

More Target cute stuff.

Vintage hankie comes from a collection I received from my Godfather after his mother passed away. She would wear the hankies in her blazer pockets. She was a really pretty lady!

One of my favorite magazines...what a pretty cover!

One of my favorite books...simple reminders of wonderful things. I always loved the Peanuts comic strips. I read them constantly when I was a kid. I think I related to Linus - I had a blankie like him.

Baked these treats for the kids...so simple and yet they think I'm wonderful for making them!

A grouping in my family room. Happy Valentine's Day! Love and Kisses from the Handley Bungalow! Hope your day is sweet!!!

  1. Such pretty Valentine goodies. How sweet your parents were high school sweethearts, I'm sure your mom misses him so as do you. We'll be married 30 years this year! Time has gone so fast. Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day. Thanks for visiting and I'm adding you to my blog roll.
